DIY Coupon Organizer Binder Snaps To Cart Plastic Canvas Pattern

I have been couponing for 20 years and have tried every coupon organization method out there. I got tired of carrying a big bulky coupon binder around with me to stores that I decided to try and design my own. It’s not beautiful but let me tell you it does the job alot quicker and easier. I actually made two binders one for Personal care items and another for Food And Snacks. The nice thing about this is you can make it hold more than 200 coupons just by adding to it. This is great for beginner couponers and experienced

Lightweight. Holds up to 200 coupons (but it can be made larger to hold even more)

Holds printable coupons also.

Very Inexpensive to make. All supplies can be found at craft stores, or at Walmart.

Fits nicely in your purse

If it gets dirty you can wipe clean with a damp cloth

Snaps to cart and flips making it easier to find the coupons you need right away

Tabs that you can add your favorite categories

Customizable you can make the binder whatever color you want, words, etc.

Pattern for the cover I made is also included and the word “Coupons” that you can stitch next to the heart.

Pattern is 6 pages long with step by step instructions with photos.
Make as gifts, sell them at craft fairs, or at fundraisers.

Pattern is in pdf format you must have acrobat reader on your computer to view and print.

Pattern (pdf file) instant download from my Etsy shop no waiting!

Christmas Perler Beads Patterns Santa Owl

designed by J. Coldren

Supplies:

Large Square Perler board
Perler Ironing paper (or wax paper)
Iron
Buttons for eyes. I bought black buttons pack at Walmart for $1.99
Perler beads (dark brown, red, white and dark yellow)
small scissors
mounting tape (double-sided tape) to attach eyes (also bought at Walmart)

Center design on large square Perler board. For placement on board see our original design of the Owl here

Cover the design with a piece of Perler ironing paper

Go over the design with the hot iron. Pay special attention to the corners and small areas such as the ears and feet to make sure the beads fuse together. Do not press hard when you iron.

Leave ironing paper on and let design cool. Slowly peel back the ironing paper to make sure that all beads are fused together. If  they are not, just go over the design again with the iron. Once cool flip design over, put the ironing paper down and  iron the other side.

For Eyes:

Cut circles out of the double sided tape or mounting tape. You will use the tape to attach the eyes.  Peel back the top adhesive of the tape and attach to back of button. Place in center of eyes. Press securely into place

Gift Ideas:

Add gold string and hang as a gift tag from the bow on a Christmas present

Add magnet to the back and hang on your fridge

Add gold string for a Christmas ornament.

Slowly peel back the paper make sure all pieces are attached if not go over the design again.  Flip the design over and iron the other side. Adult supervision required for hot irons. Halloween Loom Knitting Patterns: Spider

Halloween Loom Knitting Patterns Spider

Halloween Loom Knitting Patterns: Spider

Finished Size: 3″ high and 5″ wide with legs

Time To Complete Project: 30 minutes

Supplies Needed:

Knifty Knitter Flower Bloom Loom
2  1/2″ stryofoam ball
1 package of black chenille stems (pipe cleaners)
black yarn I used Red Heart
two white buttons and two smaller black buttons
double sided tape or mounting tape
scissors

Instructions:

Secure yarn to end peg on flower loom and e-wrap around the loom until you have 3 loops on each peg.

Go around the loom with your knifty knitter tool and take the very bottom loop and go over the top two loops so there is only two loops left on the pegs.  This counts as the  first knit row. I call this 1 over 2. For Each row you will e-wrap around the loom one more time so there is always 3 loops on each peg before pulling up the bottom loop over the top two loops

Do this 12 more times for a total of 13 rows.

Row 14 : you will have two loops left on your pegs, go around the loom and knit 1 over 1 so there is only 1 loop left on each peg

Place the styrofoam ball in the middle of your project on the loom as shown below in the center

loomspider3

Flip the loom over. Cut a piece of yarn about 10 inches long and thread it though a needle. Gather the edges like you would a hat by going  through each loop in and out, pull tight this will close the end. double knot it.

spiderloom4

Flip the loom right side up, use another 10 inch piece of yarn to gather the loops off the loom and  pull tight and knot it.  You will now have the body it will look like a ball.

Cut chenille stems and bend them to make spider legs just push them into place through the knitting into the styrofoam ball inside. Make sure they are secure.

Use mounting tape (double-sided) to attach the small black buttons on the larger white buttons for the eyes

Attach eyes on the spider also with mounting tape

And that’s it!  Now you have your very own spider ready for Halloween
